Call for Papers
The European Search and Matching Network (SaM) invites submissions for its third Annual Conference. It will take place from 15th to 17th of May 2013 at the University of Mainz (Mainz, Germany). Submissions are welcome from all areas of economics as long as search and matching framework stands at the core of the argument. Authors of theoretical papers and authors of empirical papers are equally encouraged to submit. All presentations are in plenary sessions. There are no parallel sessions.
Keynote speakers of the conference are Gianluca Violante (New York University) and Claudio Michelacci (CEMFI). In addition the conference will feature a special session on European Unemployment with Juan Dolado (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid) as keynote speaker. Papers for the special session will be selected from the general pool of submissions.
Paper submissions should be sent as an email attachment to by the 1st of February 2013. Acceptance decisions will be communicated by the 15th of February 2013.
All the participants, whether presenting or not, need to register for the conference before the 15th of March 2013.
We are very happy to announce that the Gutenberg Research College of the University of Mainz can offer accommodation subsidies to PhD students and young post-docs (i.e. those within four years after completion of their PhD). PhD students and young post-docs who present a paper will be paid two nights of their stay.
